If you press the “stop” button and the parking remains active, there may be several reasons for this.
The most common scenario is that there are a few minutes left before the mandatory minimum time for that parking area is reached. Don’t worry — the parking session will stop automatically as soon as that time has passed, and the price will be adjusted.
Sometimes, if you started your parking session near the end of the regulated period, there may still be a few minutes remaining before the mentioned mandatory minimum time ends. If that’s the case, your parking session will remain active into the first minutes of the next paid time slot (which may cause, for example, a parking session to stay active throughout an entire weekend).
In both cases, this won’t make you pay more — only that minimum price will be charged.
